قد يكون التعليم، من حيث المبدأ، الأداةَ التي يستطيع بها كلُّ فرد في مجتمع كمجتمعنا أن يلج أيَّ ضربٍ من الخطاب. لكننا نعلم جيدًا أنه في توزيعه، وفيما يتيحه وفيما يمنعه، يسير على خطوط المعركة المطروقة للصراع الاجتماعي. فكلُّ نظام تعليميّ وسيلةٌ سياسية للإبقاء على تملّك الخطاب أو لتعديله، مع ما يحمله من معرفة وسلطات.
