أرى أنّ اللغة وسيلةٌ بالغة الأهمية يصنع بها هذا الكائن، بحكم طبيعته البيولوجية، فضاءً اجتماعياً يضع فيه نفسه في تفاعلٍ مع الآخرين. وليس لها كبير علاقةٍ بالتواصل بمعناه الضيّق، أي أنها لا تنطوي على نقل المعلومات. فثمّة معلوماتٌ كثيرة تُنقل، لكنّ الذي يُنقل ليس مضمون ما يُقال.
