أتمنى أن أرى الدينين العظيمين، الإسلام والمسيحية، يسيران يدًا بيد، يحتضن أحدهما الآخر. عندها ستغدو التوراة والإنجيل والقرآن كتبًا يُسند بعضها بعضًا، تُقرأ في كل مكان، ويحترمها كل شعب... [إنني] أتطلّع إلى رؤية المسلمين يقرؤون التوراة والإنجيل.
