من وجهٍ ما أشعر بالأسى تجاه العنصريين والمتعصّبين الدينيين، لأنهم يخطئون جوهر كونهم بشرًا تمامًا، ويستحقون نوعًا من الشفقة. لكنّي أقسو قلبي بعدها، وأقرّر أن أكرههم أكثر، بسبب البؤس الذي يُلحقونه، وبسبب الأعذار المُزرية التي يسوقونها لذلك.
