الحبّ حكمة، والكراهية حماقة. في عالمٍ يزداد ترابطًا يومًا بعد يوم، علينا أن نتعلّم أن نتسامح مع بعضنا، وأن نصبر على أن يقول بعضُ الناس ما لا نرتضيه. لا سبيل إلى العيش معًا إلا بذلك. ولكي نعيش معًا لا أن نموت معًا، يجب أن نتعلّم ضربًا من الإحسان وضربًا من التسامح، وهما ضروريان تمامًا لاستمرار الحياة البشرية على هذا الكوكب.
