قال تورينغ: إنّ محاولة بناء مثل هذه الآلات (ذات الذكاء الاصطناعي) لا ينبغي أن تكون اغتصاباً غير موقّرٍ لقدرته (قدرة الله) على خلق الأرواح، لا أكثر مما نفعل حين ننجب الأطفال. بل نحن، في الحالتين، أدواتٌ لمشيئته، نوفّر مساكن للأرواح التي يخلقها.
