الآراء التي يُتمسّك بها بحماسة هي دائمًا تلك التي لا يسندها أساسٌ معقول؛ بل إنّ الحماسة مقياسُ قلّة اليقين العقلي عند صاحبها. والآراء في السياسة والدين تُعتنق بحماسة في أغلب الأحوال.
