فما مصدر أخطائي إذن؟ إنها تعود ببساطة إلى أن الإرادة تمتدّ أبعد من الفهم، فلا أحصرها داخل الحدود نفسها؛ بل أمدّها إلى أشياء لا أفهمها. ولأن الإرادة لا تُبالي بمثل هذه الأمور، فإنها تنصرف بسهولة عن الحقّ والخير، وبذلك أُخدع وأُخطئ.
