لا وجود لشيءٍ اسمه قيمةٌ تربوية في المطلق. إنّ الفكرة القائلة إنّ بعض المواد والمناهج، والإلمام بحقائق ووقائع معيّنة، تملك قيمةً تربوية في ذاتها، هي ما جعل التعليم التقليدي يختزل مادته في وجبةٍ جاهزة الهضم إلى حدٍّ كبير.
