إنّ الصور التي يستخلصها المصوّر الصحفي من الواقع، سواءً أكانت أحداثاً بعينها أم معاناةَ ردود الفعل الإنسانية تجاهها، تحمل في ذاتها طابعَ الأصالة الذي لا يملك المصوّر أن يغيّر فيه شيئاً ولا قيد أنملة؛ فمعنى الأشياء يصير، بعملية تنقيةٍ، هو موضوعُ العمل نفسه.
