يمكن القول بمعنى ما إن الرجل الفقير جدًا له طلب على عربة تجرّها ستة خيول؛ فقد يودّ أن يمتلكها، لكن طلبه ليس طلبًا فعّالًا، لأن السلعة لا يمكن أن تُعرض في السوق لتلبيته أبدًا.
