يا لها من تحولات مدهشة قد تُحدثها بضعُ سنين! يُقال لي إن شخصياتٍ محترمةً تتحدث عن الحكم الملكي دون أن تنفر منه. فمن الفكر يأتي الكلام، ومن الكلام إلى الفعل خطوةٌ واحدةٌ في الغالب. لكنها تغييرات لا رجعة فيها وهائلة! يا لَلانتصار لدعاة الاستبداد حين يجدون أننا عاجزون عن حكم أنفسنا، وأن الأنظمة القائمة على الحرية المتساوية مجرد مثالٍ زائفٍ وخادع! ليت الله يُوفّق إلى تدابير حكيمة تُتخذ في وقتها لدفع العواقب التي نخشاها أكثر مما ينبغي.
