إن الرب هو الذي ألقى في عقلي أن الإبحار من هنا إلى الهند ممكن. وكل من سمع بمشروعي رفضه ساخرًا مني مستهزئًا. ولا شك أن الإلهام كان من الروح القدس، إذ واساني بأشعة من الإلهام العجيب من الكتب المقدسة.
