أعني بالتتابع، أو سلسلة الأفكار، ذلك التعاقب من فكرةٍ إلى أخرى، وهو ما أسميه، تمييزًا له عن الخطاب بالكلمات، الخطابَ الذهنيّ. فإذا فكّر الإنسان في أيّ شيء، لم تكن فكرته التالية عفوية كما تبدو. فليست كلّ فكرةٍ تتبع كلّ فكرة على نحوٍ اعتباطي.
