ليست فلسفةُ الأخلاق سوى علمِ ما هو خيرٌ وما هو شرٌّ في تعامل البشر وفي مجتمعهم. والخيرُ والشرُّ اسمان يدلّان على ما نشتهيه وما ننفر منه، وهذا يختلف باختلاف طباع الناس وعاداتهم ومذاهبهم.
