لكي نفهم الناس، علينا أن نفهم طريقة حياتهم ونظرتهم إلى الأمور. وإن أردنا إقناعهم، وجب علينا أن نستعمل لغتهم بمعناها الضيّق المتصل بالعقل. أما ما يتجاوز ذلك بكثير، فليس مخاطبة المنطق والعقل، بل نوعٌ من الإدراك الوجداني لمشاعر الآخرين.
