لا يمكن لأيّ عملٍ علمي، مهما كانت نقطة انطلاقه، أن يبلغ الإقناع التام قبل أن يعبر الحدَّ الفاصل بين النظري والتجريبي؛ فالتجربة يجب أن تُفسح المجال للحجّة، والحجّة يجب أن تلجأ إلى التجربة.
