أؤكد مرة أخرى حقيقةً يشهد لها التاريخ بأسره: أن البشر قد يعضدون أقدارهم، لكنهم لا يستطيعون مقاومتها؛ وقد ينسجون لحمتها، لكنهم لا يستطيعون قطع سداها. ومع ذلك فلا ينبغي لهم أن ييأسوا، فثمة دائماً أمل، وإن لم يعرفوا غايته، وإن كان الطريق إليها يتقاطع مع طرق أخرى لم تُكتشف بعد. وما دام الأمل قائماً، فلا ينبغي لهم أن يقنطوا، مهما جلبت الأقدار، ومهما كانت المحنة التي يجدون أنفسهم فيها.
