الذين يحلمون في النهار يدركون أشياء كثيرة تفوت الذين يحلمون بالليل وحده. يلمحون في رؤاهم الرمادية لمحاتٍ من الأبدية، ويرتجفون في اليقظة إذ يجدون أنهم كانوا على حافة السرّ العظيم. ومن خلال لمحات متفرقة يتعلّمون شيئاً من الحكمة التي تقود إلى الخير، وأكثر من ذلك من المعرفة المجرّدة التي تقود إلى الشرّ.
