ما أريده أن يكون الغاز الطبيعي جسراً نحو مستقبل طاقة أنظف، لا سدّاً يقف في وجهه، ولا طريقاً مسدوداً. ولكي نُحسن استخدامه ونستفيد منه على أكمل وجه، لا يكفي أن نضمن استغلاله بطريقة نظيفة، وهذا تحدٍّ بحد ذاته، بل علينا أيضاً أن نرسي الحوافز كلها ونطبقها، لتمكين الطاقة الشمسية والنووية وكفاءة استخدام الطاقة من أن تبقى قادرة على المنافسة مع الغاز الطبيعي في المستقبل.
