السلوك الجنسي ليس، كما يُفترض غالبًا، تراكبًا بين رغبات تنبع من غرائز طبيعية من جهة، وقوانين مبيحة أو مقيدة تخبرنا بما ينبغي أو لا ينبغي فعله من جهة أخرى. إن السلوك الجنسي أكثر من ذلك.
