لا أوافق على أن الكلب الذي يرقد في المذود له الحق الأخير في المذود، وإن ظل راقداً فيه زمناً طويلاً. لا أُقرّ بهذا الحق. فأنا، على سبيل المثال، لا أُقرّ بأن ظلماً عظيماً وقع على الهنود الحمر في أمريكا أو على السود في أستراليا. ولا أُقرّ بأن ظلماً وقع على هؤلاء القوم لأن عرقاً أقوى، وأرفع مرتبة، وأدهى في شؤون الدنيا، إن صحّ التعبير، جاء فحلّ مكانهم.
