أميل إلى الظنّ بأنّ سلطان الكتاب المقدّس إنما قُصد به إقناع الناس بتلك الحقائق الضرورية لخلاصهم، والتي، لارتفاعها فوق فهم الإنسان، لا يمكن أن تصبح معقولة بأيّ علم، ولا بأيّ وسيلة غير الوحي من الروح القدس.
