منذ اللحظة التي تصبح فيها الطبقة التابعة مستقلةً حقًّا ومهيمنة، فتُنشئ نوعًا جديدًا من الدولة، تنشأ الحاجة الملموسة إلى بناء نظامٍ فكريٍّ وأخلاقيٍّ جديد، أي نوعٍ جديد من المجتمع، ومن ثمّ الحاجة إلى صوغ أكثر المفاهيم كونيةً، وأرهف الأسلحة الأيديولوجية وأكثرها حسمًا.
