تربيةُ الشباب على الاستقلال تقتضي أن يُعوَّدوا مبكرًا على الرجوع إلى حسّهم بالصواب وإلى عقولهم الخاصة. أما اعتبارُ الدراسة مجرّدَ تلقٍّ وحفظٍ للذاكرة، فذلك نظرةٌ ناقصةٌ للغاية إلى معنى التعليم.
