الشرفُ مقدّسٌ حقًّا، لكنه في سلّم الكمال الأخلاقي أدنى مرتبةً من الفضيلة؛ بل هو جزءٌ منها، ولذلك لا يملك من الحقّ ما يملكه ما هو أعمّ منه في دعم نظامِ حكمٍ يُنتج سعادة الإنسان.
