إن الله، لكمال حكمته وعلمه اللامتناهيين، يفعل على أتمّ الوجوه، لا من الناحية الميتافيزيقية وحدها، بل كذلك من الناحية الأخلاقية؛ وبالنسبة إلينا يمكن القول إنه كلما ازددنا استنارةً ومعرفةً بأعمال الله، ازددنا استعداداً لاستحسانها، ووجدناها موافقةً تمام الموافقة لما كنا لنتمنّاه.
