ينبغي تفضيل علم الأعداد على سائر العلوم في التحصيل، لضرورته، ولما فيه من أسرار عظيمة وألغاز في خصائص الأعداد. فجميع العلوم تنهل منه، وهو لا يحتاج إلى أيّ منها.
