إذ يسمع البشر بعضهم بعضًا، ويرى بعضهم بعضًا، ويفهم بعضهم بعضًا، يعيش الناس اليوم، من أقصى الأرض إلى أقصاها، في آنٍ واحد، حاضرين في كل مكان كالإله بفضل قدرتهم الخلّاقة. ولأنهم انتصروا على المكان والزمان، لكانوا الآن متحدين على نحوٍ باهر إلى الأبد، لو لم تُربكهم مرةً بعد أخرى تلك الوهمة القاتلة التي تدفعهم إلى تدمير هذه الوحدة العظيمة، وتدمير أنفسهم بالوسائل ذاتها التي منحتهم السيطرة على عناصر الطبيعة.
