لا تذهب إلى المعبد لتضع الزهور عند قدمي الله، بل املأ بيتك أولاً بعبير المحبة. لا تذهب إلى المعبد لتوقد الشموع أمام مذبح الله، بل أزِل أولاً ظلمة الخطيئة من قلبك. لا تذهب إلى المعبد لتُطأطئ رأسك في الصلاة، بل تعلّم أولاً أن تنحني تواضعاً أمام أخيك الإنسان. لا تذهب إلى المعبد لتصلّي وأنت راكع، بل انحنِ أولاً لترفع من سقط مظلوماً مهيض الجناح. لا تذهب إلى المعبد لتطلب المغفرة عن ذنوبك، بل اغفر أولاً من قلبك لمن أساؤوا إليك.
