يجب أن نتذكّر أنّ الذكاء لا يكفي. الذكاء مضافًا إليه الخُلُق، تلك هي غاية التعليم الحقيقي. فالتعليم الكامل لا يمنح المرء قوة التركيز وحسب، بل أهدافًا نبيلة يركّز عليها. والتعليم الواسع هو ما ينقل إليه ليس المعرفة المتراكمة للجنس البشري فحسب، بل أيضًا الخبرة المتراكمة في الحياة الاجتماعية. وإن لم نتوخَّ الحذر، فستُخرّج جامعاتنا جماعةً ضيّقة الأفق، غير علمية، غير منطقية، من أصحاب الدعاية، تنهشهم الأفعال المنافية للأخلاق. فاحذروا يا إخوتي! احذروا يا معلّمين!
