الاستنتاجات القائمة على الكلام وحده لا تُثمر، وإنما تُثمر تلك التي تستند إلى وقائع مثبتة؛ فالتأكيد والكلام خادعان وغادران. لذلك ينبغي التمسّك بالوقائع حتى في التعميمات، والانكباب عليها بثبات، لمن أراد أن يكتسب تلك العادة الحاضرة المنزهة عن الخطأ التي نسمّيها «فنّ الطب».
