في كنف الأسرة يتعلم الأطفال القيم التي ستوجههم طوال حياتهم. وفيها تتشكل أولى علاقاتهم، ويتعلمون التواصل مع الآخرين والتفاعل مع العالم من حولهم. وفي كنف الأسرة يصير مفهوم حقوق الإنسان واقعًا يُعاش كل يوم. فإذا تغلغلت التسامح والاحترام والإنصاف في الحياة الأسرية، تحوّلت إلى قيم تشكّل المجتمعات والأمم والعالم.
