بعض زملائي الذين يُنتقدون اليوم لغياب المبادئ الصريحة، أو يُنظر إليهم باحتقار بوصفهم «سياسيين» يساومون، ليسوا في حقيقة الأمر سوى ممارسين لفنّ دقيق هو فنّ المصالحة والموازنة وتفسير القوى والفئات المتصارعة في الرأي العام، وهو فنّ لا غنى عنه لإبقاء أمّتنا موحّدة وتمكين حكومتنا من أداء عملها.
