من الواضح أن المرأة في المجتمع الحديث لا تجد الأمر يسيراً، أينما عاشت. ما زال عليها أن تبذل جهداً إضافياً لتثبت أنها تعادل الرجل. عليها أن تعمل ساعات أطول وأن تقدّم تضحيات أكثر، وأن تحمي نفسها عاطفياً من الهجمات الجائرة، وغالباً الشرسة، التي تُوجَّه إليها.
