ولأن طبائع العقول تختلف، فيميل بعضهم إلى اعتناق صورة من الإيمان، ويميل آخرون إلى غيرها، إذ قد يدفع ما يحمل أحدهم على الصلاة إلى السخرية عند غيره، أرى أن لكل إنسان الحرية في أن يختار لنفسه أسس معتقده، وأن يُحكم على الإيمان بثماره وحدها.
