اختُرعت اللغة لطرح الأسئلة. يمكن أن تُعطى الإجابات بالإيماء والإشارة، أمّا الأسئلة فلا بدّ أن تُنطق. بلغ الإنسانُ رشده حين طرح السؤال الأول. والركود الاجتماعي لا ينشأ عن نقص الأجوبة، بل عن غياب الدافع إلى السؤال.
