طوال حياتي وأنا أدرك بحدّة تناقضًا في صميم وجودي. قضيتُ خمسةً وأربعين عامًا أحاول حلّ هذه المعضلة بكتابة المسرحيات والروايات. وكلما أكثرتُ الكتابة أدركتُ أن الكلمات وحدها لا تكفي، فابتكرتُ شكلًا آخر للتعبير.
