الحبّ بطبيعته عابر لا محالة. والبحث عن سرّ يجعله دائمًا لا يقلّ عبثًا عن البحث عن حجر الفلاسفة أو الدواء الشامل، وكان الكشف عنه سيكون عديم الجدوى بالقدر نفسه، بل ضارًّا بالإنسانية. أما أقدس روابط المجتمع فهي الصداقة.
