إذا أعجبك عمل شخصٍ ما، فالمهم أن تتعرّض لكل ما تعرّض له ذلك الشخص. ومن أراد أن يكون كاتب أغانٍ فعليه أن يستمع إلى أكبر قدر ممكن من الموسيقى الشعبية، وأن يدرس شكل ما ظلّ قائمًا منها مئة عام وبنيته.
