لطالما لعب العقل والمعرفة دوراً ثانوياً وتابعاً ومساعداً في حياة الشعوب، وسيظلّ الأمر كذلك. فالشعب يتشكّل ويُدفع إلى الأمام بقوةٍ من نوع آخر تماماً، تأمره وتُكرهه، ومصدرها غامض يصعب تفسيره رغم حضورها الواقعي.
