الفشل معلّم. من يفكر تفكيرًا حقيقيًّا يتعلم من إخفاقاته لا يقل عمّا يتعلمه من نجاحاته. والجهل الصادق مفيد، لأنه غالبًا ما يصاحبه التواضع والفضول والانفتاح على الرأي الآخر؛ أما القدرة على ترديد الشعارات والمصطلحات الرنّانة والقضايا المألوفة، فتمنح وهم العلم، وتطلي العقل بطلاءٍ يصدّ كل فكرة جديدة.
