بما أن الموت، إذا تأملناه مليًّا، هو الغاية الحقيقية لوجودنا، فقد كوّنتُ في السنوات القليلة الماضية صلةً وثيقة بهذا الصديق الأصدق والأوفى للإنسانية، حتى إن صورة الموت لم تعد تفزعني فحسب، بل صارت مطمئنةً ومُعزِّيةً حقًّا. وأشكر إلهي أن منحني بفضله فرصة أن أتعلّم أن الموت هو المفتاح الذي يفتح باب سعادتنا الحقيقية.
