في عام 1492 اكتشف السكّان الأصليون أنهم صاروا «هنودًا»، واكتشفوا أنهم يعيشون في أمريكا، واكتشفوا أنهم عراة، واكتشفوا أن الخطيئة موجودة، واكتشفوا أنهم مدينون بالولاء لملكٍ ومملكةٍ من عالمٍ آخر، ولإلهٍ من سماءٍ أخرى؛ وأن هذا الإله اخترع المذنبين واللباس، وأرسل مَن يعبد الشمس والقمر والأرض والمطر الذي يبلّلها ليُحرَق حيًّا.
