إنّ الغالبية العظمى منّا مسلمون، نتّبع تعاليم النبيّ محمد، صلى الله عليه وسلم. ونحن أعضاء في أخوّة الإسلام التي يتساوى فيها الجميع في الحقوق والكرامة وعزّة النفس، ومن ثَمّ يسكننا إحساسٌ خاص وعميق بالوحدة. ولكن لا تُخطئوا الفهم: باكستان ليست دولة ثيوقراطية، ولا شيئًا يشبه ذلك.
