فمتى ينبغي للمرء أن يقاوم إذن؟ حين يُنزع حزامه؟ حين يُؤمر بأن يقف متّجهًا إلى الزاوية؟ حين يعبر عتبة بيته؟ إنّ الاعتقال سلسلة من التفاصيل العرضية، ومن أشياء كثيرة لا تعني شيئًا، ويبدو أنه لا جدوى من الجدال حول أيٍّ منها على حدة... ومع ذلك فإنّ هذه التفاصيل العرضية مجتمعةً تشكّل الاعتقال بلا هوادة.
