يُضيء كلُّ إنسانٍ بنوره الخاص، فلا لهبان متشابهان. هناك لهبٌ كبيرٌ وآخر صغير، ولهبٌ بكل الألوان. بعض الألسنة من السكون بحيث لا تكاد ترتجف في الريح، وأخرى جامحة تملأ الهواء شررًا. وثمّة ألسنة حمقاء لا تُحرق ولا تُنير، وأخرى تتّقد بالحياة حتى يصعب النظر إليها دون أن نرمش، ومن اقترب منها أضاءته النار.
