صحيحٌ أنّ مسار المصير الإنساني يُفزع من يتأمّل جزءًا منه. لكنه سيحسن صنعًا إن احتفظ بتعليقاته الشخصية الصغيرة لنفسه، كما يفعل المرء أمام البحر أو الجبال الشامخة، إلا إذا كان يعلم أنه مدعوٌّ ومُوهوب للتعبير عنها في شكل فنيّ أو نبوي. أما في أغلب الحالات الأخرى، فإنّ الحديث الكثير عن الحدس لا يفعل سوى إخفاء قصور في النظرة إلى الموضوع، وهو قصور يستحق الحكم نفسه الذي يستحقه القصور في النظرة إلى البشر.
