أكره السياسة كلّها، ولا يعجبني أيّ حزب من الأحزاب. لا ينبغي للمرء أن ينتمي إليها، بل ينبغي أن يكون فرداً مستقلاً يقف في الوسط. فمن ينتمي إلى حزبٍ يتوقّف عن التفكير.
