من أهدافي أن أُري الناس أنّ كثيرًا مما يعدّونه جزءًا من مشهدهم المألوف، ومنه فكرة أنّ البشر كائناتٌ كونية، إنما هو نتاج تحوّلاتٍ تاريخيةٍ دقيقة جدًّا. تقف تحليلاتي كلّها ضدّ فكرة الضرورات الكونية في الوجود الإنساني. فهي تكشف عن اعتباطية المؤسسات، وتبيّن أيّ مساحةٍ من الحرية ما زلنا نتمتّع بها، وكم من التغييرات ما زال ممكنًا إحداثها.
